Why a blog?

Working with games and software for over 12 years on various platforms I pretty much seen it all… at least it often feels that way.

This blog is a way to share with you ideas, news but also problems and possible solutions that I stumble upon while working in the gaming industry as Product Manager, Submission Manager but also Producer and Game Designer.


Happy Re-Release Day!

It has never been as easy for a developer to release his game to an international audience then it is now. Customers from all over the world can buy games on Steam, itch.io, iTunes, Googleplay, Amazon, and many other platforms,… right? Unfortunately, this only works in theory. In many cases, releasing a game will go unnoticed by the audience. Potential customers simply don’t know the game is out there. Instead of burying the game and moving on developing a new game, companies should deal with the game a little longer and consider re-releasing it.

Submission Impossible - Part 1 - Apple

Today I’d like to tell you a little bit about the technical side of submission and release management and share with you some of my problems and the solutions I found when dealing with Apple’s iTunes Connect, Xcode and Testflight.
